a worthwhile read for those who publish by Dr. James Ernest

As a proud member of the Baker Academic extended family, I pass this on with enthusiasm :

  1. Ernest's summary of Doron Mendels makes one long to live next door to a theological library again:

"The story of the rise of Christianity as narrated by Eusebius, Mendels suggests, is the story of a media revolution, the creative appropriation by Christians of every available form of communication and the invention of new ones. It is the story of a three-centuries-long publicity campaign."

  2. "The church fathers read scripture allegorically. I read NRSV footnotes allegorically."

  3. Thanks for your grateful <a href="”> students blogs </a> informations.
